When to dive
Apo Reef Natural Park (Mindoro) is the second-largest contiguous coral reef system in the world after the Great Barrier Reef. Best in the dry season (Nov–May); SW monsoon (Jun–Oct) brings rough seas. Liveaboard or long day-boat from Sablayan; ranger permits required.
