Pelagic thresher sharks visit the Monad Shoal cleaning station almost daily at first light (5–7 am). Year-round, but typhoon season (Jul–Sep) can disrupt access from Malapascua. Site is a 30 min boat ride; dive briefing emphasises stillness on the plateau edge — do not pursue.
