Warmest water and calmest seas late spring through early autumn. Hurricane season (Jun–Nov) can disrupt access. Sank prematurely upside-down in May 2002, righted onto her starboard side in June 2002, and was pushed fully upright onto her keel by Hurricane Dennis in July 2005 — her originally intended position.
