Read this before using DiveTwin

DiveTwin is experimental software. It is not certified, not a substitute for proper training, and must not be used as the sole basis to plan an actual dive.

Decompression calculations are safety-critical. The Bühlmann ZH-L16 + Gradient Factors implementation in this project has not been independently certified against any agency standard. Even small numerical errors in tissue loading, ceiling computation, gradient-factor interpolation, or oxygen-toxicity accumulation can cause decompression sickness, oxygen toxicity, or death.

Before relying on any planner — including widely used ones like Subsurface, MultiDeco, or V-Planner — divers must:

• 02Cross-check schedules against multiple independent planners.
• 03Follow their team's standard procedures and contingency plans.
• 04Maintain conservative reserves and be prepared to abort.

This software exists for educational and research purposes. The authors disclaim all liability for any use in actual diving operations.
